With most of the seat cushion on the outside of the car, it's much easier to transfer to and from a wheelchair. In its outermost position, the Turny® Manual locks firmly into place, giving you a stable point to hold onto while transferring.
Getting seated in a car can get tricky for car users of all abilities. Having the seat on the outside means you can back up against the edge of the seat and drop down. Then use the Turny® Manual to transfer yourself into the car. Getting out is just as easy. Rotate out and get up in a forward motion like you would from a chair. You can even use the door as a brace.

The Turny® Manual is a hand-operated swivel base for low built cars like Hatchbacks, Coupés, Sedans, Station Wagons and MPVs.
With only two levers, the Turny® Manual is very easy to operate. Lift the lever on the side to engage the rotation and push the lever in the front down to move the seat backwards or forward. Both swivel and lengthwise movement can be done simultaneously giving you perfect control.
Our Turny® Low Vehicle is a powered swivel base that offers similar functionality as the Turny® Manual. It's fully automatic and operated via a wired remote or your mobile phone.
